For different kinds of play: Playground Shibuya Kids
Playground Shibuya Kids is an indoor play space for preschool children on the 9th floor of Konami Sports Club Shibuya, in Shinsencho. Playground Shibuya Kids
Children can choose from an inflatable locomotive slide, a white-sand play area, pretend play, trampolines and bouldering. A burst of energetic play followed by some quiet time in the sand is one way to follow their mood.
Admission is paid, advance reservations are required, and a parent or guardian must accompany each child. Once you have chosen a day, check the booking instructions on the official website. Shibuya Kids admission requirements
For a longer play session: BørneLund’s KID-O-KID in Ariake
BørneLund Asobi no Sekai at Ariake Garden combines the paid indoor KID-O-KID play area with a shop on the mall’s 4th floor. KID-O-KID welcomes children from 6 months to 12 years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian. BørneLund Ariake
Alongside active play, there are opportunities for building and make-believe. With different things to try, deciding ‘What shall we do first?’ can be part of the fun.
The play leaders support parents and children as they play together. This is not a drop-off service: parents need to stay with their children. Check the registration and entry steps on the official admission website before visiting. KID-O-KID visitor guidance
For a free play break: Kids Ariake Garden on 4F
Also on Ariake Garden’s 4th floor, Kids Ariake Garden is a free play area for children aged 0–6. It is a separate space from BørneLund. Kids Ariake Garden
The equipment is arranged with different ages in mind, including a Baby Oasis area for the youngest visitors. It is an option for a short play break together during a shopping trip.
An accompanying parent or guardian aged 18 or over is required; children cannot be left while adults go shopping. On weekends and public holidays, same-day numbered tickets are used for 30-minute sessions. Weekday arrangements may also change when it is busy, so check before you go.
For outdoor play and shopping: LaLaport Toyosu
Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu has a Kids Park in its courtyard. The official renewal guide describes an artificial-grass play area with a bouncy mountain, a slide and spinning play equipment. LaLaport Toyosu Kids Park
Benches and pushchair parking make this an option for a little outdoor play together. It is also easy to combine a visit with a meal or some shopping.
As this is an outdoor space, weather or events may affect access. Follow the signs on each piece of equipment for its intended ages and how to use it.

A playground one day, a themed experience the next
A relaxed day choosing favourite play equipment together can be wonderful. For something a little different, a programme built around a theme offers another way to spend a day out.
At Lumina in Azabudai, our party experiences bring together games and crafts for around two hours. Joining the same game or making something personal can create opportunities to start a conversation with a new friend.
Drop-off participation is available, allowing parents to enjoy shopping or a café nearby while their child takes part. Please ask about age requirements and participation conditions before booking.
For a closer look at themed play, read about Lumina’s two-hour kids’ party experiences in Azabudai.
