Instead of aiming to see everything, ask, ‘What will we discover here today?’ Choosing just one first stop gives you time to follow your child’s curiosity.
Fit your own plans around a two-hour experience
Next comes a Lumina party experience. Around two hours of themed games and crafts give children an activity of their own to look forward to.
During a drop-off session, parents can browse at Azabudai Hills or pause at a café nearby. A salon appointment or lunch with a friend could also fit into the day.
Work out your available time after allowing for drop-off, travel and pick-up. Booking a full two-hour treatment during a two-hour session, for example, would leave you rushing back. Confirm your child’s session first, then make any salon or restaurant reservation.
Pause after pick-up and hear about their day
‘What did you make?’ ‘Which game did you enjoy?’ After pick-up, make a little time to listen.
They might show you their craft or tell you about a game while you choose a snack together. You do not need another big activity: sharing what happened can be enjoyable in itself.
Ask ahead if you would like a longer stay
If your plans call for more time, a stay of up to about five hours may be possible by consultation. The usual party experience lasts around two hours, so please discuss the activities, breaks and arrangements for food and drinks when booking a longer visit.
For a first visit, choosing a theme your child will look forward to matters as much as the length of the session. Tell us about their favourite games and anything they find difficult in an unfamiliar place.
