At Lumina Soirée in Azabudai, Tokyo, children’s party experiences are at the heart of what we do. We create opportunities to play, connect and discover — while making room for parents to enjoy a little time of their own.

PARTY EXPERIENCES
“Let’s go to a party today.”
Our core experience: a party children can join just for the joy of it.
It doesn’t have to be your birthday, and you don’t need an invitation. Our programmes are designed around two hours, with children able to join individually or with friends. We bring familiar pleasures from birthday and seasonal celebrations around the world into everyday family life.
Activities vary with the season, theme and participating children. Our team supports the play and guides the session.

Lumina Curiosity Club
We are developing a club at the same Azabudai venue where children can meet different teachers and try different worlds. Languages and cultures one day; dance, drama, vocal percussion or speaking another. A familiar place can be the starting point for something wonderfully unfamiliar.
This is a first spark, rather than a promise to master a skill in a short session. We hope “I’d like to try that again” might lead to a specialist class, a new question or something a child chooses to keep doing at home.
How membership is being planned
We are planning a monthly membership with a choice of sessions, based on around three visits a month. Fees, age ranges and enrolment dates will be announced when confirmed.

Each event’s booking information will explain age ranges, drop-off arrangements and the session plan. Please talk to us beforehand about anything you would like to know.

You can order gifts on their own, without booking a party. If they are for school, please let us know any school rules that need to be considered.

Inspired by the children
around me.
There are many children in my everyday life. Spending time with them reminds me that each child finds joy — and finds their way towards other people — differently. Sometimes an interest is simply waiting for the right encounter. I want to bring what they teach me into the experiences we create at Lumina.
A beautiful room and thoughtful decorations can make the first moment feel special. What matters most to me is what happens next: who a child meets, what they try and how they feel when they leave. I want play to bring children closer, across different languages, cultures and backgrounds.
My hope is for children to know Lumina as a place where something enjoyable is waiting, and for parents to feel glad they chose to spend that time with us. Happy memories, a new friendship, a little confidence or a moment of kindness — these are the things I hope our families take home.

A little joy, shared further.
Enjoying something together can grow into caring for someone else. We also hope to create opportunities for neighbourhood clean-ups, charity, volunteering and connections across generations — experiences that let children discover the pleasure of doing something for others.
