A short holiday activity can be the start of a new interest

Children do not always know which activity they would like to keep doing before they have tried it. Perhaps they love making things, moving to music or sharing a story with others. A first experience can reveal an interest they had not noticed before.

A short programme during the winter holidays offers a chance to explore. Before choosing a regular class for the new term, make a little room for trying something simply because it looks fun.

Join Lumina Winter Camp for just one day

At Lumina’s Winter Camp, children enjoy world arts and crafts, share their creations and spend time with new friends. They choose materials, make something of their own and see how others have approached the same activity.

Bookings are available by the day or for a five-day week. You can start with one day, or choose a week that fits around travel and family plans.

The 2026 camp begins on 14 December, making it an option for international-school families and others whose holidays start earlier. School calendars vary, so choose the dates that match your child’s break. See the camp dates and booking details.

Experience Lumina Curiosity Club as part of camp

There is something extra to look forward to in the afternoon: Lumina Curiosity Club is included in the camp programme.

The club’s idea is to help children discover their interests by encountering different activities. The feelings of “I’d like to try that” and “Can I do it again?” can be the beginning of something they want to explore further. Discover the idea behind Lumina Curiosity Club.

During Winter Camp, children encounter this approach through daily special programmes such as dance, singing, art and drama. Camp becomes a chance to enjoy the holidays and gather ideas for a future class, all in one place.

Activities vary by date; every activity is not offered every day. Explore the camp programme.

Add a party experience to the day

For children who would like another experience after camp, there is also a Lumina Party Experience. No birthday or invitation is needed, and children can join individually.

Themed games, crafts and time for treats bring children together for a celebration. After a day of trying new things at camp, a party offers another way to make a winter memory. Find out what happens at a Lumina party.

Winter parties run from 4 pm to 6 pm and are charged separately from camp. The price is ¥12,100 including tax for members and same-day campers, or ¥14,300 including tax for general admission. Children can also join a party without attending camp.

Check the announcement for your chosen date for the theme and activities. See winter party details and fees.
