Make stickers and a little album
Draw flowers, animals or patterns on blank sticker paper. The shape can suggest an idea: a round sticker might become a face, while a square could become a tiny window.
Fold paper into a mini album and decorate the cover with a name or favourite colours. Keep any stickers intended for swapping on their backing until the swap is finished, then stick them into the album.
Swap only when both children want to
Agree on two simple rules: each child chooses what they want to offer, and a swap happens only when both say yes. A treasured favourite can stay with its maker.
Showing work is a way to join in without swapping. Try finding stickers with the same colour or introducing everyone’s animal drawings. Keep the conversation about what children created, rather than price or rarity.
